With over a decade of experience in representing injured individuals in a variety of safety-related lawsuits across the United States and Mexico, Mr. Liles has obtained verdicts and settlements for his clients in cases ranging from products liability cases, commercial business litigation, and workplace negligence suits. Being an aggressive litigator benefits his clients by getting quicker results, and his expertise maximizes case values.  (FN The success and value of any case depend on the circumstances of each given case.)

Raised in the west-Texas town of Abilene, Mr. Liles earned his Bachelor of Science degree in 1993 from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas, majoring in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, business, and marketing. In 1997, Mr. Liles received a Juris Doctorate degree from Baylor Law School in Waco, after serving as Editor-in-Chief of the Baylor Law Review and receiving numerous other advocacy and scholarly honors.

Following law school, Mr. Liles independently handled several litigation dockets for over four years with a large international law firm – Fulbright & Jaworski, L.L.P. – in Houston, Texas, representing both plaintiffs’ and defendants’ interests. In 2001, Mr. Liles partnered with Bryan Harris and Mikal Watts (Harris & Watts, PC), and turned his aggressive advocacy toward automotive product liability litigation and oil field negligence, exclusively representing Plaintiffs.  The firm of Harris & Watts experienced growth and expansion, and with the help of Mr. Liles and Mr. Harris, became a nationally recognized firm for representing injured Plaintiffs in a variety of litigation areas.  In 2010, Mr. Liles and Mr. Harris formed Liles Harris, PLLC to continue representing Plaintiffs’ interests in trucking negligence, workplace-related accidents, various auto product liability and personal injury cases involving defective tires, airbags, vehicle rollovers, occupant restraints, fuel system integrity leading to post collision fuel-fed fires, seat designs, and seatbelt buckles. Mr. Liles served as lead trial counsel in complex commercial cases and in multiple auto product liability and personal injury cases involving various defective products, resulting in significant verdicts and settlement for his clients across the United States and throughout Mexico. In recognition of his trial experience and expertise, Mr. Liles was Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in 2005.

Mr. Liles is an “AV” rated lawyer in the Martindale-Hubbell legal directory, the highest recognition. Mr. Liles is licensed to practice law in the state courts of Texas and Arizona, and in all the United States District Courts in the Districts of Texas and the Districts in Arizona, before the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and for the Ninth Circuit, and before the United States Supreme Court.
